This is pretty close to my dream house and location.  I don’t love the furnishings (too much black), but geez, this is one beautiful and eco-friendly house. My internet is being a piece of shit today, so I’m not able to research this particular artist as much as I would like to (as his website takes up too much bandwidth).  It seems that he is an all-round designer, and I haven’t yet looked at his furniture/object stuff, but his LIGHT FIXTURES!  Oh, his light fixtures!  They are truly beautiful.  So, go check out his website, particularly the lighting section. DOBA Lamp by Gud Conspiracy.

From Design Milk: This DOBA lamp was designed by Paulo Neves and Alexandre Kumagai of Gud Conspiracy. Inspired by the traditional Portuguese “Dobadoura,” a tool used to wind skeins of wool, the DOBA lamp has a structure around which you can wind the cord.
